Peterhead's dismal run of recent away form continued as they allowed East Stirling to come from behind to win 2-1, despite Rory McAllister having put the Blue Toon in front from the penalty spot after just 77 seconds.

Shire captain Lewis Turner had threatened time and again before he finally levelled the scores after 32 minutes with a neatly-taken finish.

The striker found the net again six minutes after the interval with a spectacular strike from range, turning Ryan Harding before unleashing an effort which left Paul Jarvie helpless.

To make matters worse for Peterhead, Scott Ross was then shown a straight red card, the second time he has been sent off this season by Development referee Gavin Ross.

In a further blow, Jamie Redman had to be taken off after a horror challenge from Sean Kelly in the midfield, which led to the Shire man picking up a booking.
