First half goals from Robbie Winters and Rory McAllister were enough to guide Peterhead to victory over Clyde at Alloa's Recreation Park.

Winters lofted the ball home from thirty yards to topen the scoring in a game the home side probably deserved more from, taking advantage of a horrendous mix-up in the 'home' defence.

McAllister added a second from the penalty spot after John Kane had brought down Jamie Redman just before the half-hour mark.

Paul Jarvie was the busier of the two goalkeepers, and made a pair of impressive stops from Clyde's young striker Stefan McCluskey to keep his side in front.
