Peterhead have opted to move their training base from the Station Park home of League 1 rivals Forfar to the recently opened Dundee Regional Performance Centre at Caird Park.

The Blue Toon players had been training together one night a week at the Angus ground for several years however manager Jim McInally has opted to bring them indoors as he explained: “Our thanks have to go to Forfar for their help and assistance over a long time however we have made the difficult decision to move to Dundee.”

“The facility there has only been open for a few months and it will allow us to train differently as we will not be hampered by the weather. We came in last week for a taster session and enjoyed it and our board did the right thing by informing the Forfar board we were moving when they were up for the game between us last Saturday.”

“Our northern boys will have to travel for another 15 minutes to get there and they agreed to that easily after seeing what was there. The second night of training on a regional basis remains unchanged.”
