Peterhead 1-2 Airdrie

“After a poor start where we lose a goal and after watching Tottenham earlier – a team losing a goal that capitulates – we did well to come back.”

“The last 20-25 minutes of the first half was as well as we have played for a long time.”

“But we could not convert our chances and paid the price. The worst we should have been doing is drawing that game. But that is what happens when you are going through spells like this.”

“Last week after the game I did not have any positives – when I analysed the team I did not see any pass marks. But I saw plenty of pass marks here. I saw a bunch of players that were a bit unlucky.”

“I have not seen the penalty but the boys were saying it was harsh.“

“The only thing we don’t take is a point out of the game. We come out of it with a bit of credit.”

“We now have a two-week break where we can hopefully get some bodies back in. It was a young team out there that defensively did okay. I’m more than happy, bearing in mind they have probably trained seven times this week and we have trained once.”
