Blue Toon manager Jim McInally:

“Overall, I was really pleased.”

“I thought for 25 minutes in the second half, the players were different class.”

“We totally ran over the top of Elgin but their goalkeeper kept making saves.”

“It became nervy because, a bit like last week when we did not get the killer second goal, we could not get the third one and we nearly paid the price.”

“That is the first time I have heard the players like that after the game where they felt as though there was an Injustice to what was happening out there.”

“Hopefully they can go and see it through now and we need to win one of our last two games.”

“Even the sending off was beyond belief.”

“Mick came and won a second header and to get sent off for that was ridiculous.”

“Whether he will be out for one or two games, I don’t know but it was a shocking decision.  We cannot even appeal it.”

“It is hard to get over the line but we now have two opportunities to get there.”
