The top three come up against the bottom three in League 2 this weekend.

Peterhead entertain Cowdenbeath looking to maintain their five point advantage on Edinburgh, who head for Berwick.

Clyde remain in contention, despite their four point deduction, ahead of their trip to face Albion Rovers.

The Blue Toon have a 100% record against the Blue Brazil this season after notching 4-2 and 3-1 victories at Central Park while the Balmoor fixture finished 1-0.

Boss Jim McInally, whose team played out a goalless draw at Edinburgh last week, said: “There is still a long way to go yet and Clyde are still there so we need to keep going.”

“We will regroup and hopefully see the season out as best as we can with as few injuries as we can.”

Mick Dunlop, one of the older heads in the squad, added: “It is a home game and that is potentially another three points and one more game taken care of.”

“The experienced players have a part to play as do the younger guys because they have to do our running!”

“I think it is a good blend but we do need each other. “
