Balmoor Stadium, Peterhead

When this awesome live music event hits the North East, make sure you’ve got your ticket! All fired up? Be in on the action and join the buzz when huge girl group The Saturdays head up to turn The Blue Toon red hot! Plus, supporting acts include local lad and superstar in the making Stephen Innes as well as an exclusive first time appearance in Scotland from big time alternative rock band Kasiuss. An unforgettable line-up for a night to remember.

The Saturdays have enjoyed massive success, completing sell-out tours with rave reviews and even starring in their own TV show, The Saturdays: 24/7. They are now set to sign with a big American record label to begin cracking the industry in the States and word has it they have been offered an American TV show of their own too. Their very first album went straight to Platinum and since then their music has been in the top ten UK Charts a massive ten times.

John Buchan, Peterhead F.C. supporter and star of TV series, The Trawlermen, said:

"I think this is an innovative idea from the people involved with the football club. It will be great for the town, and the area. Even I have heard of The Saturdays, and I hope everyone turns out in huge numbers to give this event the support it deserves".

George Walker OBE, Managing Director at George Walker Event Management added:

“We are delighted to be managing this exciting concert. The people of the North East never cease to amaze us with their support of these high profile events and we can promise they won’t be disappointed with what we have in store for them on the 16th of June.”

Blue Toon Rox in 2012 will also support the amazing charity MacMillan Cancer Support. Cancer is the toughest thing most people will ever face. For those who have been diagnosed with cancer, or a loved one has, they need a team of people in their corner supporting them every step of the way. MacMillan provides practical, medical and financial support and pushes for better cancer care. The number of people with cancer is growing every day and their aim is to reach and improve the lives of every one of those people.
