A message from the Chairman...

As we head into the play-offs this week we can look back on what has been a successful season - we ended the league campaign well ahead on points from last seasons winners Arbroath albeit ourselves and Montrose were neck and neck throughout, let's now get behind the team and show our support and hope we can join them in promotion to League One.
Jim and his coaching staff are to be applauded for attracting the quality of players who have worn the shirt of PFC this year, especially bringing in some of the younger players who they have groomed for possible future promotion and who have learned from our long-standing experienced campaigners - on their day this team is possibly one of the most exciting I have seen play during my time at Balmoor. To put together a successful squad on the park takes a huge effort from all the people behind the scenes at the club and especially so given our geography. We can be proud of their achievements this season as they have given us some real highlights - beating Hearts at Balmoor a special one.
Financing the running of PFC takes huge commitment and effort so I would like to extend a big thank you to all the parties involved who give up their time and money on a regular basis, year after year to make this club a success. We have one of the smallest boards in Scottish football (4 when the average is 10) so first and foremost I would like to extend a huge note of gratitude for the role they have played in continuance of furthering this great community-based club. To Ian Grant (Vice-chair and main financial backer of PFC), Charlie Watt (Financial Director) and Harry Fraser (Catering and Hospitality), please accept my thanks on your continued cooperation and informal shared responsibilities of managing Peterhead Football Club.
The Board would also like to pass on our thanks to our loyal patrons who not only provide great financial backing but also give up their time and assistance in so many other ways -
Asco, Genesis, James Jamieson, LFH Engineering MB Plant, Score, TWMA and a special mention to Charlie Clark of LJF Coatings and Peter Bruce PBP Services for your continued support.
A huge debt of gratitude is also extended to each and every one of the companies and individuals who have taken match and ball sponsorship this season (100% full), executive seats, match day dining, advertising boards, media advertising, platinum membership, programme adverts, season ticket holders, ground and stand supporters, all of the patrons of our bar and catering facilities - we thank you one and all and especially our committed "Supporters Club" who travel to all the away games and presented their trophies to the players on Saturday night at their end of season bash.
On a last note, please see the attached photo of the fantastic team of people who take the time out of their busy lives to help at the club but do not always get the recognition they deserve.
