League 2 leaders Peterhead entertain Stenhousemuir on Tuesday seeking a fourth straight win.

The Blue Toon, after defeating Cowdenbeath, Clyde and Stirling Albion respectively, have moved three points clear at the top.

Jim McInally’s men have spent much of the season chasing Montrose but now the roles are reversed, although the Gable Endies do have a game in hand.

The teams are scheduled to meet for the final time this weekend and Peterhead will be determined to go into the Links Park clash off the back of another positive result.

14 goals have been served up in the three games between Peterhead and Stenny this season, with the Balmoor club avenging two previous defeats at the turn of the year.

Jason Brown and Jack Leitch will return to the squad after serving one-match bans and Rory McAllister, an unused substitute at Stirling on Saturday, could feature.

Russell McLean is doubtful, having suffered an ankle injury in the first half at Forthbank.
