Peterhead have two regular starters missing for the League 2 match against Stirling Albion.

Jason Brown and Jack Leitch are both suspended for the Forthbank fixture as the Blue Toon aim to hang on to top spot.

Rory McAllister, however, has returned to training after an ankle problem and is likely to be among the substitutes.

Allan Smith will also be back in the squad after a hamstring problem and Aidan McIlduff will be restored to the team after missing the win over Clyde.

Balmoor boss Jim McInally: “The little rest we had last Saturday might not have done us any harm, especially with three games coming up in a week.”

“The only negative was that Jason was meant to miss the Stenhousemuir game and Jack was due to miss out this week.”

“Now, because of the postponement, we have ended up in a situation where we lose both players for the same match.”

“But once those suspensions are out the way, we are pretty clear so that augurs well for the rest of the season.”
