Peterhead manager Jim McInally has bolstered his squad during a busy period, with the signing of Dundee United centre-back Ross Smith on a one-month emergency loan deal.

The 19-year old centre-back is a product of the Arabs' youth setup, having been with the club since he was 14, and made four first-team appearances last term.

He has captained the United U19 team, and been capped by Scotland at all levels up to U19.

The Glasgow-born defender will be available for Saturday's match at home to Stranraer.

Meanwhile former Blue Toon man Barry Sellars has signed for Forfar for the third time in his career, the midfielder having been released from his Peterhead contract last month.
