Peterhead go for an eighth straight win in all competitions when they welcome Stirling Albion on Saturday.

Jim McInally’s men have scored 20 goals in their last four outings and have come out on top in 11 of their last 12 fixtures.

It is fantastic form, which has seen them, and current leaders Montrose, peel away from the pack in League 2.

This will be the third meeting of the Blue Toon and the Binos this season and it is one win apiece so far.

Stirling were 4-2 victors at Balmoor in August. Scott Ross was sent off in what turned out to be his last appearance for the Buchan outfit.

Peterhead gained revenge last month with a 1-0 success at Forthbank, Rory McAllister scoring the winner with a deflected strike in the first half.

Last time out, the Blue Toon came from behind to defeat Stenhousemuir 4-1 at Ochilview.

Allan Smith came off in the first half with an elbow injury and is ruled out of Stirling’s visit to Aberdeenshire.
