Peterhead manager Jim McInally has confirmed the release of Barry Sellars from his Blue Toon contract.

The 36-year old was signed in the summer from Forfar Athletic by former manager John Sheran, and made ten appearances for the club.

He scored one goal for the club, a free kick in the 3-1 defeat at the hands of Elgin City at Balmoor in September.

Prior to his arrival at Balmoor, Sellars had three spells with Arbroath, two at Forfar, and also spent a short time at Clyde early in his career.

All at Balmoor wish Barry the best of luck with his future career as he becomes the fourth player to leave Balmoor in recent times.

Defender Alan Rattray and midfielder Paul Watson have joined Fife junior side St Andrews United on loan until the end of the season, while winger Aaron Conway has signed a similar deal with Dundee Violet.
