Peterhead manager Jim McInally

"I don't think Montrose deserved anything out of the game."

"We put in a lot of effort, I am not saying Montrose did not, but I thought we played at a really good tempo in the first half and were unlucky not to be ahead at half time."

"But again we did fine in the second half and we knuckled down and I don't think Montrose actually created a chance in the 90 minutes."

"I was always concerned at set-pieces because they had a lot of big guys in their team and the players are angry with themselves for conceding that late goal."

"They were debating in the dressing room if we should have had two men on Chris Templeman at that stage of the match but it was just one of those things."

"We will take it and move on, although there was a lot of good stuff and a lot of good performances."

"If we can play at that tempo more often, we will win most weeks because Montrose came here off the back of a lot of good away performances and we gave them a tough time."

"The attitude of the players was fantastic."

Montrose manager Stewart Petrie

"When you score that late in the game, you are fortunate to come away with a point."

"We kept plugging away without really looking like scoring but it was a great delivery from Martyn Fotheringham and big Chris Templeman was on hand to put the ball into the net."

"This is a tough place to come and anything you get here is a bonus so we will take the point.  The result keeps the momentum going and that breeds confidence."

"We also have players coming back now so we will maybe look to freshen up the team next week to see if we can get a little more bit going forward because we did not create enough."

"But Peterhead are a very strong side and we have to be happy with the draw."
