Redman's former club up next for Blue Toon

Wed 24 Feb 2016

Jamie Redman, who scored the winner at Cowdenbeath last weekend, believes the Blue Toon can maintain their unbeaten run if they stay focused.

Peterhead are 14 games without loss in League 1 and only Dunfermline have stopped them winning since mid December.

Redman told Waves Radio Sport: “It was Halloween the last time we were beaten in the league and we have only had four draws in that run as well.”

“It’s a great run and, as you can imagine, confidence is high and it’s a good time to be in our dressing room.”

“We are aiming to get into the play-offs and we just need to keep approaching games in the manner we are and try to extend the run.”

Next up for the Petrofac Training Cup finalists are Redman’s former employers Brechin, who prop up the table despite saving their best form for the Blue Toon this term.

Redman, skippering the side in the absence of the suspended Steven Noble, added: “We are not getting ahead of ourselves."

"It’s all about focusing on the next game, which is Brechin.”

“We have not beaten them yet this season so we will look to put that right.”
