The Blue Toon and the Blue Brazil meet at Balmoor on Saturday as Peterhead bid to stay second in League 2 and ensure Cowdenbeath remain at the bottom.

Jim McInally’s men came out on top when the teams met in Fife in October, claiming a 4-0 victory.

Gary Bollan is now in charge of the Central Park outfit, who, despite failing to win away so far this season, have only conceded six goals on the road.

Peterhead assistant manager Davie Nicholl said: “We know what Gary is all about.”

“His teams are always hard-working, they never give in and also they are well organised.”

“But, by the same token, we know what we have got in our locker with the players we have.”

“We just need to approach the game right, be totally focussed and take care of business.”

“We give every team the respect, which they are due, and we certainly do our homework and I know Jim was at the Cowdenbeath game during the week.”

“But I am always of the belief that, if we keep doing what we are doing, and we stay strong, we will be hard to beat against anybody.”

Team news - Scott Brown and Marc Lawrence remain sidelined for the Blue Toon, who have no new injury concerns.
