Preview Dunfermline v Peterhead

Thu 05 Nov 2015

Peterhead youngster Cammy Kerr misses the League 1 trip to Dunfermline after his stoppage time sending off against Stenhousemuir.

In a further blow, the on loan Dundee defender will also sit out the Petrofac Training Cup semi final the following week against Queen's Park at Hampden.

Kerr was dismissed for a lunge on Stenny sub Fraser Eddington with seconds remaining last Saturday.  The red card was deemed violent conduct meaning Kerr incurs an immediate two match suspension.

It's a setback for the club and the player, who recently told how he would be fulfilling a dream by playing at the national stadium.

Blue Toon manager Jim McInally will attempt to galvanise the team after they surrendered three goals and three points at Ochilview last week.

Rory McAllister's first half hat-trick was not enough to earn Peterhead even a point as Stenhousemuir staged an incredible, and unlikely, comeback to win 4-3.

On a happier note, McAllister was on target the last time McInally's men visited East End Park.  That was in January when Peterhead came from behind to salvage a point.

McAllister converted a penalty that day and he also scored from the spot when the Blue Toon defeated Dunfermline 2-1 at Balmoor earlier this season.

The Pars could prove tougher to break down this time, however.  They have not conceded in the league since September.
