Peterhead 2 Stenhousemuir 0

Sat 31 Jan 2015

Following a weekend off due to a weather postponement at Glebe Park, Jim McInally's squad was close to full strength and the manager had new signings Nicky Riley and Kevin Dzierzawski a fit and available for selection.

An afternoon plagued by tumultuous weather ended with a fantastic win for the Blue Toon against a stubborn Warriors side. A dogged goal from Cammy Kerr was followed up by a memorable first from man of the match and new signing Kevin Dzierzawski.

The Blue Toon had gone in ahead at the break thanks to a scrappy goal from on-loan full back Cammy Kerr. However Rory McAllister missed a penalty moments later, after Jamie Stevenson was brought down in the box.

In the 56th minute the home side made a breakthrough wit a stunning debut goal from Dzierzawski, who played a neat one-two with McAllister on the edge of the box before sliding a shot in from 10 yards.
