MATCH UPDATE

Over the festive Season and into New Year Balmoor Stadium will be a hive of activity with 3 home games in quick succession:

BOXING DAY - PETERHEAD V MONTROSE

MON 2ND JAN - PETERHEAD V ELGIN CITY

SUN 8TH JAN - PETERHEAD V CELTIC William Hill Scottish Cup 4th Round

For those still looking for tickets for the Peterhead v Celtic tickets they are available for sale from the front office at PFC and will be for sale on the next 2 match days (while stocks last).

To keep up to date with the latest information on these fixtures revisit www.peterheadfc.com regularly.

In response to concerns raised regarding the admission of Under 12s to the Peterhead v Celtic game, please see the following:

While Under 12s are usually admitted free with any paying adult (not just season ticket holders), at the Peterhead v Celtic match every person admitted through the turnstiles requires a ticket as agreed by PFC and Celtic FC.

Similarly, there will be no concessions offered for this game in accordance with agreements reached between Peterhead FC and Celtic FC.

Any young supporters with a Junior Season Ticket will be admitted to the game, as this includes Cup Games.

Following Tuesday night's sale of tickets, here is an update of our FAQ section regarding this match:

WHEN WILL THE CELTIC MATCH TICKETS BE ON SALE AGAIN?

The remaining home end tickets are now on public sale. To obtain a ticket please come to the front office at Balmoor Stadium on any weekday between 9am and 5.30pm.

Tickets are not transferrable and may not be offered for sale without the prior written permission of the Club. Any tickets offered for sale outside the stadium will be confiscated and the police will be informed.

WHY WAS WERE PUBLIC SALES ORIGINALLY LIMITED TO 2 PER PERSON?

It was decided to limit the tickets to 2 per persons to ensure sufficient tickets will still be available for the loyal fans that come to every Peterhead FC Home Match. Now fans have had 2 separate opportunities to purchase their tickets, they are now available to anyone who wishes to buy for the Peterhead end only.

WHAT IS THE ALLOCATION PER PERSON THIS TIME?

At the moment there is no set allocation.

I PAID FOR A £23.00 SEATED TICKET BUT IT SAYS £18.00 GROUND ON THE FRONT, WHY IS THIS?

Look at the back (white side) of the ticket. There should be a blue PFC stamp. This is what gets you into the stand on Match Day so be sure to bring the correct one!

IS MY SEASON TICKET VALID FOR THE CELTIC MATCH?

Yes - if your season ticket is for Cup & League Matches (it will state so on the front of the ticket). If your ticket is league only, you will need a Match Ticket.

NORMALLY I BRING AN UNDER 12 WITH ME AND THEY GET IN FOR FREE - WILL THIS HAPPEN AT THE CELTIC GAME?

No - I'm afraid even Under 12s will require a ticket at this Cup Match. Due to agreements reached by the two teams, all who come to watch this game will require a ticket unless they have a Cup & League season ticket for this season.

I HAVE A SEASON TICKET FOR THE STAND - WILL I BE IN MY NORMAL SEAT?

Unfortunately there will be some people that will have to be moved within the main stand. This is purely for security and ergonomic reasons.

All valid season ticket holders for the main stand will have a seat allocated; further information will be provided soon to affected persons. We apologise for the inconvenience.

WHY IS THE BALMOOR CAR PARK BEING CLOSED?

It is expected to be the largest ever attendance at Balmoor for a match. There are also major constructions on the site with Sky Television, a Marquee and police security in operation, so it was decided to limit the vehicle access to the stadium to absolute minimum to ensure pedestrian safety at the stadium for entry and exit.

All vehicles must be out of the Balmoor Car Park at 12:00 on Sat 7th of January or they will be removed. Disabled supporters can apply to the club for disabled parking but this is extremely limited. In the event of an invalid or non-existent car park pass the vehicle will be refused admission to the car park.

WHAT OTHER PARKING RESTRICTIONS ARE THERE?

Balmoor Terrace and Catto Drive will have parking restrictions. Celtic supporters will access the Stadium via Catto Park - all Peterhead Supporters will access the Stadium via Balmoor Terrace. There will be strict segregation outside the stadium and there will be no access to home turnstiles via Catto Park.

There is 'drop off only' on Balmoor Terrace. Alternatively car parking is available in the community centre bus park or former Focus Car park.

WHY IS THE TICKET PRICE HIGHER FOR THIS GAME AND WHY NO CONCESSIONS?

Scottish Cup gate income is shared between the clubs and agreement had to be reached with Celtic in regards to ticket pricing - the price being charged was the agreed price after discussions with Celtic.

WHY IS THERE AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR ENTRY TO THE EAST STAND (DUNCAN CRESCENT SIDE)?

There is an overwhelming demand for seated viewing and to ensure that entry was managed safely then a ticket arrangement was decided for the East Stand.

I WANT A TICKET FOR THE CELTIC END, CAN I GET ONE FROM PFC?

The Celtic allocation has been fully issued to Celtic Football Club - they are controlling the distribution of Celtic end tickets. A ticket for the Celtic end can only be purchased from Celtic FC.

BUT WHAT IF CELTIC SUPPORTERS HAVE BOUGHT A TICKET FOR THE PFC END?

There will be strictly no admittance to Balmoor Stadium in the home end of any person wearing or displaying Celtic Colours. There will be no reallocation to Celtic end for the stadium - the person will be refused entry or ejected from the stadium.

Balmoor Stadium Ground Regulations and the Peterhead FC Unacceptable Behaviour Policy will be strictly enforced during the event.

WILL THE PETERHEAD SPORTS BAR BE OPEN AS NORMAL?

No. The Bar will be closing at 14:30 for 2 hours, reopening at 16:30. The Peterhead match will not be shown in the sports bar. The toilets in the bar will be closed from 13:30.

WHAT ELSE HAS CHANGED?

There will be a significant operation to check tickets and searching for unauthorised items. This may delay entry slightly. It is strongly recommended that supporters turn up early to avoid being delayed and to gain the best possible viewing position.

Any flag must have the appropriate fire safe certification to be permitted entry to the stadium, no advertising hoardings to be covered by flags. Large flags will not be permitted entry to the stadium.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE GAME IS CANCELLED OR ABANDONED?

If the game is cancelled, please retain your ticket for entry to the rescheduled match. A date will be advised.

If the match is abandoned, pleasure ensure you have retained your ticket. Re-entry to a rescheduled match will be by the ticket stub of the match on the 8th January.

Hopefully this helps - if there are any questions you have that are still without answer after reading this, please mail them to // This email address is being protected from spambots. Thank you to all who came and purchased their tickets for the above at last night's game.

As there are still tickets left these are now on public sale and will be sold on a first come first served basis.

The only tickets now available are for the ground (standing) and they are £18.00 each.

There are no concessions and these will be for the Peterhead end only, no Celtic end tickets are available to buy at PFC.

To buy your tickets please come to the front office between 9.00am and 5.30 on weekdays.

Following a pitch inspection, this game is ON. K.O 7.45pm

Ticket sales for the Peterhead v Celtic match will be going ahead tonight:

Tickets will be sold within the grounds from 7pm until 7.45pm (k.o) from the old club shop (next to the tea hut) and may only be accessed by those going through the turnstiles to see tonight's game. The limit is 2 per person or 4 per season ticket holder.

To ensure yourself a ticket, please be at the club for 7pm as once the ticket office closes, no further sales will be made that night. If tickets do not completely sell out tonight, a further sale day will be announced. Watch this space.

TICKETS £18.00 EACH, NO CONCESSIONS

Ground-Only tickets left, no further seating available.

Due to tonight's poor weather conditions, tonight's Elgin v Peterhead match has been postponed. Please revisit the website soon for information on when this will be rescheduled.

Following Saturday's first sale of tickets, hopefully this Q&A section will cover most eventualities and answer the most common questions regarding this match:

WHEN WILL THE CELTIC MATCH TICKETS BE ON SALE AGAIN?

The remaining home end tickets will be on public sales from the ticket office inside the turnstiles on Tuesday 20th December, the rearranged Berwick Rangers match.

This sale will be CASH ONLY, no cheque or credit card facilities are available so please come prepared. We apologise for the inconvenience.

Tickets are not transferrable and may not be offered for sale without the prior written permission of the Club. Any tickets offered for sale outside the stadium will be confiscated and the police will be informed.

WHY WAS THE PUBLIC SALE ON SATURDAY LIMITED TO 2 PER PERSON?

It was decided to limit the tickets to 2 per person with the match being called off to ensure sufficient tickets will still be available for the loyal fans that come to every Peterhead FC Home Match.

WHAT IS THE ALLOCATION PER PERSON THIS TIME?

Due to the number of tickets left, the allocation per person will be 2 once again. However, those who produce their season ticket will be permitted to buy up to 4.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE MATCH IS CANCELLED AGAIN?

The tickets will go on Public sale at the stadium from 7pm until 8pm (or until they have sold out).

I PAID FOR A £23.00 SEATED TICKET BUT IT SAYS £18.00 GROUND ON THE FRONT, WHY IS THIS?

Look at the back (white side) of the ticket. There should be a blue PFC stamp. This is what gets you into the stand on Match Day.

The event saw huge crowds fill the first floor of Balmoor Stadium for a look round over 30 stalls of local businesses and crafters.

The club would like to say a huge thank you to all the shoppers who braved the cold to turn out and make the event such a success. We would also like to thank our wonderful stallholders who really put in the effort with some beautiful stalls  and fantastic ranges of items to buy.

We hope the 2012 Christmas Fayre proves as popular!
