Peterhead manager Jim McInally believes his team must keep Clyde’s strikers in check to get a positive League 2 result at Broadwood.

McInally said: “They have David Goodwillie and Smart Osadolor, who is quite a handful and really pacey.”

“Osadolor has chipped in with a few goals recently and, in my opinion, it is only circumstances that have got Goodwillie playing at our level.”

“He is above League 2 standard and if he shows it, we could be in trouble so we need to make sure that we stay tight on him.”

Nicky Riley is ready for a return while Jordon Brown and Paul Cairney are back training but Mason Robertson is out and Simon Ferry is unlikely to be risked on the artificial surface.

Rory McAllister, who netted five goals against Colville Park in the Scottish Cup last weekend, was on the scoresheet in a title-winning 2-0 victory at Cumbernauld in 2014.

McAllister said: “I have not played down there since that day so I am looking forward to going back.”

“Hopefully we can get a result and we have got to be looking to pick up three points.”

“That would move us on to the next quarter with a bit of momentum and although this first quarter has not been the greatest, we are not that far away.”
