LEAGUE 2

PETERHEAD 0-2 BERWICK RANGERS

PETERHEAD MANAGER JIM MCINALLY:

""I could not see us conceding but we lost a goal from a set-piece, which just cannot happen."

"In this league, that is the one thing that is going to hurt us and it has hurt us here in the last couple of games with people not doing their jobs."

"Scott Brown said he was not sure whether to kick or leave the ball but he has got to kick it."

"That cost us dearly and the second goal came off our corner kick, which is pretty ridiculous really."

"That just should not happen."

" We got to half time comfortably enough in the windy conditions and then we were camped in the Berwick half for at least 20 minutes in the second half."

"But the quality we have in the final third did not shine through, we did not have a bit of magic from anybody and the standard of the crossing for the players we have was poor."

BERWICK RANGERS MANAGER ROBBIE HORN

" I thought we created as many chances as Peterhead.  Our goalkeeper did not have a lot of saves to make and when we had to defend our box, the boys did that."

"We competed well for the first and second balls and managed to keep a good player like Rory McAllister quiet."

"It was a real team performance full of spirit and desire and if you can keep clean sheets, you will always have a chance of winning games."

"I have absolutely no idea when last Berwick won up here but I was on the end of a 9-2 howking."

"I remember I came on as a substitute when we were 7-1 down so this result wipes away a bit of that memory."

"But this is fantastic result for us, coming up here and getting three points."
