Addressing a poor run of results against Stenhousemuir is the target of in-form Peterhead when the two relegated teams clash at Ochilview.

From last season's ill-fated campaign, the Blue Toon failed to defeat the Warriors, picking up just one point from their four meetings.

However, the Balmoor squad has since been revamped and overhauled, prompting a winning start to life in League 2.

Peterhead came from behind to beat Annan on the opening day, before strolling to victory over former Highland League rivals Elgin.

Assistant manager Davie Nicholls said: "We need to sort out our record against Stenhousemuir."

"They were a bogey team for us last season but we need to push on.. We have a new squad with fresh impetus and we are trying to move forward."

"It's still early days because, from the different competitions, we have only played seven or eight games together, which is not a lot, but the initial signs have been good."

"We will go there and try to get a positive result to keep our run going."

Rory McAllister could miss out after aggravating a hamstring injury during a brief substitute appearance in Tuesday's IRN-BRU Cup win against East Fife.

Central defenders Scott Ross and David McCracken are also doubtful with groin and Achilles injuries respectively.
