Blue Toon supporters might have to wait a few more days before seeing Mikael Ngango Dikobo in action.

But once his fitness is up to the same level as his new team-mates, Peterhead boss Jim McInally is confident fans will like what they see.

The 24 year old completed his move to Balmoor this week after his much-awaited international clearance finally came through.

The Frenchman, formerly of Slovakian outfit Lokomotiva Zvolen, is a left-sided full back and will look to fill the void vacated by former skipper Steven Noble, who was released at the end of last season.

McInally said: "Mikael is quick and strong and when he is fully fit, he will get up and down the flank."

"First and foremost, I was looking for a good defender and when you see the pace he has got, he is able to get back into position quickly and he is hard to get past."

"Eventually when we get Mikael up to speed, hopefully he can show the supporters that he is that type of player."
