Post-match Reaction

Peterhead manager Jim McInally:

"It was really pleasing to get a win and clean sheet, especially as we started six new players."

"They looked as though they had been playing with each other for a while but they are all decent level players."

"We have got good options now with the shapes we can play and the bodies we can bring on although in the next two games we will be chasing the ball for big parts so that will be a different test."

"But we have just beaten a team from the league we have just come from so that was pleasing."

East Fife player-manager Darren Young:

"It was disappointing to lose in the manner we did.  It was a short pass back and McAllister nips in and does what he is good at."

"I don't like to make excuses but we are five first-team regulars down, who have been there and done it."

"But all credit to the lads, who came in.  I thought they did well and we had a big claim for a penalty in the first half."

"There were positives and our fitness looked good so we now look forward to a Fife derby against Dunfermline on Tuesday."
