To stand a chance of beating the League 1 drop, Peterhead must come out on top against an Alloa team with one eye on the promotion play-offs.

It's the Blue Toon's final game of the regular season and it's win or bust. Well, kind of.

As well as securing a victory over the Wasps, the Aberdeenshire team also need help from Brechin, who face second-bottom Stenhousemuir.

Darren Dods takes his side to Ochilview requiring a point to guarantee a top-four berth so maybe, just maybe all is not lost for the Balmoor club.

McInally said: "The way things have gone, it has taken the situation out of our control."

"We need to win while relying on a favour elsewhere and it is a lot to ask."

"It is disappointing that is has got to this stage but we are where we deserve to be and we just need to hope that we can go and get a result against a team that has nothing to play for."

"I do not make excuses for that because we are facing opponents, who are preparing for a play-off game in just a few days time and we need to make the most of that."

"We need to play aggressively and in a way where Alloa may not fancy it because their players might be thinking about their next game."

"It's last chance saloon for us and if the best case scenario was to happen at Ochilview with Brechin getting something against Stenhousemuir, we need to take advantage of it."

"If we don't, it would sum up our season."
