Two of Livingston's forwards have been shortlisted for the SPFL League 1 Player of the Year award ahead of their match against Peterhead.

Liam Buchanan and Danny Mullen have scored an impressive 42 goals between them this season.

Their fine form has been one of the key reasons why Livi have already wrapped up the title and tomorrow David Hopkin's team will be presented with the trophy.

Hoping to gatecrash the party are second-bottom Peterhead, who did win on their last visit to West Lothian in November thanks to goals from Leighton McIntosh and Scott Brown.

However, they have only managed four more victories since, form completely contrasting to Livingston, who have won their last seven fixtures.

Blue Toon manager Jim McInally, whose side sit just two points ahead of Stenhousemuir, said: "We know what can happen on your trophy day."

"We played a hungry team in Stirling Albion three years ago and they overcame us so we need to go to Livingston and try to get a result."

"We need to look over our shoulder with Stenhousemuir just a couple of points behind us."
