Peterhead enter their final three matches determined to ensure their place in League 1 for next season.

First and foremost, the Blue Toon will aim to come out on top in the basement battle against Stenhousemuir to guarantee they will finish no worse than ninth, which would mean a relegation play-off.

But Jim McInally's men still have ambitions of hauling themselves clear of trouble altogether by surpassing Stranraer, who are three points ahead and with a superior goal difference.

McInally said: "That is our target and where our focus is."

"We need to deal with this game on Saturday and if we can win, I believe we are capable of finishing the season strongly."

"I think that bit of confidence we got from last week can help us get the result we want and if we do get the points then maybe we can bring one more team into the fight."

Team news - On loan St Johnstone defender Liam Gordon is still out with a medial ligament injury. Other than that, the Blue Toon are at full strength for the match.
