Promoting the work of both the SPFL Trust and clubs around the country - the aim of the Trophy Trusted Tour, which stopped off at Peterhead on Tuesday evening.

The Scottish Premiership trophy and the League Cup were both on display at Balmoor as invited guests got the chance to get up close and personal with some sought-after silverware.

Derek Allison, SPFL Trust Operations Manager said: "The SPFL Trust know exactly what all the clubs do because we work well with them. But what we find is that members of the public don't know or realise how much work the clubs do at local and community level."

"Part of this campaign and the Trusted Trophy Tour is to go round all the clubs that have expressed an interest in letting the organisations, news outlets, MSPs and local dignitaries know exactly what it is they do."

"A prime example is here in Peterhead and the way they have embraced working with the local community, realising the opportunities there are."

"The whole idea of this is to raise awareness and sing the praises of the clubs and what they do, as well as profiling the SPFL Trust's projects and programmes."
