Peterhead have today completed the signing of Queen of the South winger Grant Anderson.

The 30 year old has agreed terms until the end of the season.

Anderson is the Blue Toon’s fifth signing of the January transfer window and will be available for selection for next weekend’s League 1 match against Queen’s Park at Balmoor.

Manager Jim McInally said: "Grant will bring a bit of experience."

"He has pace and plays wide on the right or the left.  He is also the type of player, who can give the team a break sometimes because he is capable of taking the ball for a run."

"Generally, in that area of the pitch, I just felt we are a bit short in terms of experience and hopefully, with Grant signed up, we can start getting more supply in from the wider areas."

"Grant is a player I tried to get last summer before he went to Queen of the South.  He is a player I have always admired and I think he is a good type, a good character and a good addition to our squad."
