Hampden date confirmed

Thu 22 Oct 2015

Peterhead will face Queen’s Park at Hampden in the Petrofac Training Cup semi final on Saturday 14th November in a 3pm kick off.

The date and time was confirmed by the SPFL today. Rangers and St Mirren will clash at Ibrox in the other semi a fortnight later.

The winners of both ties will meet on Sunday April 10th at a venue still to be decided.  The showpiece is generally reserved for McDiarmid Park, Perth although the 2014 final was held at Easter Road in Edinburgh.

The Blue Toon sealed their passage to the last four of the competition with a 3-0 victory over Stenhousemuir earlier this month.

Jim McInally’s men have also beaten Brechin at Glebe Park by the same margin while they knocked out Falkirk 5-3 in August, Rory McAllister netting all of Peterhead’s goals.  The Blue Toon talisman has in fact netted in every round so far.
