Preview: Peterhead v. Stirling Albion

Sat 17 Jan 2015

Peterhead are gearing up to welcome Stuart McLaren's bottom of the table Stirling Albion to Balmoor. The Beanos may be propping up the Scottish League One table with only 13 points from 20 games, but the Blue Toon have failed to beat Stirling in either of the last two visits to the north-east.

Manager Jim McInally said: "We're certainly not going to be complacent. We played against them last season, and we know them too well t be complacent.

"Today is a good opportunity for us though. With the teams above us all scrapping with each other, a win could put us right in the mix."

Peterhead will be without Bryan Gilfillan, who has moved to Airdrieonians, and Nicky Riley, who is absent due to a long-standing family commitment. Jim McInally is not however faced with any injury worries.

Albion will be without Lewis Coult as the striker is beginning a two-match ban following his red card in the 2-2 draw with Dunfermline.
