Peterhead Football Club's first League One clash of 2015 is shaping up to be a special encounter. Jim McInally's Blue Toon travel to an out of form Dunfermline Athletic side who said goodbye to boss Jim Jeffries last month.

Since the two sides met in November, Dunfermline have won two and lost three of their five league matches. The visitors, by comparison, have played one game fewer and only lost once. If the Blue Toon triumph against The Pars and win their subsequent game in hand, Peterhead will leapfrog Dunfermline into the play off places.

When Peterhead visited East End Park earlier this season, Jim McInally saw three of his players sent off during a foul-tempered clash. The manager has inisted keeping 11 men on the pitch is the only way Peterhead can beat what he describes as the leagues "best team".

The visitors may be without Ryan McCann and Dean Richardson, both of whom are short of match fitness, and midfielder Mark Millar is set to make his final appearance for Peterhead before his loan deal expires.
