Peterhead manager Jim McInally has promised to field his strongest possible line-up against Colville Park.

The Balmoor boss will not risk rotating his squad for the Scottish Cup second round tie against the Amateur Cup champions.

McInally said: “We have not got a big squad just now due to four or five players being out injured.”

“But to answer your question bluntly anyway; if everybody was available it would be the strongest 11 that would be playing because this is a no-risk game and it is the Scottish Cup.”

“We know if we can win this match, we could potentially get a winnable tie in the next round and before you know it, you are in the hat with the big guns.”

“I know that it is cup final time for Colville and there is a lot of excitement around their club but we need to be professional and the players will be well warned, that is for sure.”

Team news:
Mason Robertson and Nicky Riley have returned to light training and could make the bench.

Marc Lawrence is still missing with a back problem while Jordon Brown and Paul Cairney are also absent.
