PREVIEW Peterhead v. Stenhousemuir

Sat 08 Aug 2015

Kick off in the Scottish League One season is only hours away. Will Jim McInally and the Blue Toon squad get off to a winning start at Balmoor? Or will the Warriors prove too tough a test?

The home side with be without defenders Scott Ross (suspended) and Steven Noble (hamstring injury) however Nicky Riley returns to the side after missing the Rangers tie due to a family wedding.

On loan Ally Gilchrist will also be available for a starting berth.

McInally said: "I watched Stenhousemuir down at Stranraer last weekend and they look a much more experienced side than the one they had last season. We are a bit short of numbers in defence, but are stronger up front with the return of Nicky, so we will be attacking a lot."

Stenhousemuir boss Brown Ferguson - who said his side deserved "great credit" for their performance against Stranraer last weekend - is without Mark Gilhaney and Anthony Marenghi.
