ALBION ROVERS 0-0 PETERHEAD
Neither Albion Rovers or Peterhead can buy a win lately so it was hardly a big surprise that this contest between the strugglers finished all square.
There were just four goals all afternoon between the 10 teams in League 1 so it was not the worst point to pick up with seventh placed Stranraer and basement side Stenhousemuir both suffering narrow defeats.
Peterhead brought back Rory McAllister after a one match ban while Ryan Strachan and Michael McMullin also came into the starting line-up.
Dropping out were Nicky Riley, Jordon Brown and the injured Steven Noble.
McAllister did go close on more than one occasion while Grant Anderson sent a shot just wide early on.
Albion's attacking threat was blunted by the absence of their top scorer Ross Stewart, who had netted three goals against the Blue Toon this season.
Keeping a clean sheet was a Peterhead positive, their first since January against Queen's Park, which was the last time they won a match.
This stalemate keeps Jim McInally's team sitting nervously in eighth in the table, just ahead of today's opponents, who play the first of their two games in hand against East Fife on Tuesday.
